Citizen GSX-140 True True DM/C P, S opt LQ False True I This card provides you with detailed instructions for setting macro 1 in the Command-Vue Setup Menu for the Citizen GSX 140 printer using the parallel interface. The following settings will be made: Epson emulation, copy mode off, text printing direction bi-directional, graphics printing direction uni-directional, software command lock off, line spacing 6 LPI, form length 11 inches, page skip off, ribbon either normal or color, automatic sheet feeder on or off, auto line feed off, and select in signal ignore.®®Note: In these instructions we will be giving you step-by-step instructions for defining a Command-Vue macro. We will be setting macro 1 in order to save any possible changes. By saving these selections to macro 1, the printer will automatically default to them upon power up. These settings can be made to any one of the four (4) macros, however if you decide to save these changes to any macro other than number 1, this macro will have to be loaded when the printer is turned on. For more detailed information on defining a Command-Vue macro see page 129 in the Citizen GSX 140 user’s manual. For more detailed information on using the Command-Vue Setup Menu refer to chapter six (6) in the Citizen GSX 140 user’s manual®®Note: Pressing the JUMP key to move to the next jump point. The first character will be underlined, indicating it is active.®®Note: The Factory Defaults contain all the correct settings for using the Citizen GSX 140 printer with PowerPrint. If you are a brave person and do not care about your current Command-Vue settings or macros, a very fast way to set macro 1 of the Command-Vue Setup Menu is to reset all settings to the Factory Defaults. Resetting the printer using this method will erase all four macros previously defined and change them all to the factory default selections. If you are using the color ribbon or sheet feeder, we recommend you do not use this method of setting the Command-Vue Setup Menu because the default settings do not activate these options To reset to the Factory Defaults:®®1.
